Teresa Correa (Ph.D. in communication, University of Texas at Austin) is assistant professor in the Faculty of Communication at Universidad Diego Portales. Her research focuses in access and uses of new technologies, health Communication and mixed methods. She has published about thirty journal articles and book chapters, including the Journal of Communication, Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication, Journal of Broadcasting and Electronic Media, Information, Communication and Society, New Media and Society, among others.

Andres Silva
Universidad Central de Chile

Andrés Silva holds a master’s from the Department of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University in the US and a doctorate from the University of Kent in the UK. His areas of interest are consumer behavior and food public policy evaluations. Some of his more recent research includes the evaluation of the 5-a-day campaign in France and child-directed TV advertising restrictions in the UK. Nowadays, Andrés teaches at the Universidad Central de Chile and is working on a joint project between the Universidad de Chile’s Institute of Nutrition and Food Technology (INTA) and the University of North Carolina’s Carolina Population Center that studies food tax simulation and measures the impact of a soda tax in Chile.
